Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, freight forwarders, and customers to resolve shipping discrepancies and logistical issues.
- Track shipments in real-time and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping data and inventory levels within the TMS (Transportation Management System).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, etc.) and import/export regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid forklift certification and willingness to work in a warehouse setting.
- Associate degree or certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
