Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping processes to meet delivery deadlines
- Manage freight documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and shipping manifests
- Collaborate with carriers to negotiate rates and resolve transit issues
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive status updates to stakeholders
- Optimize warehouse inventory levels to support shipping operations
- Implement cost-saving measures in transportation and logistics workflows
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping or logistics coordination experience
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and shipping documentation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certification (CSCP, CLTD, or CILT) preferred
- Forklift certification and warehouse safety training
