Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track incoming and outgoing freight, ensuring accurate delivery schedules.
- Prepare and verify all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs forms.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and vendors to resolve shipping discrepancies and delays.
- Maintain precise records of shipment status, inventory levels, and cost analysis.
- Monitor shipping costs and negotiate rates with carriers to optimize the budget.
- Identify and troubleshoot logistics issues proactively to maintain workflow continuity.
- Conduct physical inspections of cargo and packaging to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel advanced).
- Strong understanding of Incoterms, customs regulations, and import/export procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
