Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the full shipping lifecycle, from order placement to final delivery.
- Track shipments in real-time, resolving any delays or logistical issues immediately.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs forms.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and select the most cost-effective shipping methods.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and shipping logs.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients regarding shipment status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain is a plus.
