- Coordinate domestic and international shipping schedules using TMS and ERP systems
- Manage documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms) with 100% accuracy
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier rates to reduce costs
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve delivery exceptions proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams on inventory allocation
- Ensure compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for shipping efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination or related field
- Proficiency in TMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certification in logistics/supply chain management preferred
- Strong analytical skills for cost optimization and route planning
- Excellent written/verbal communication for carrier negotiations
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Knowledge of customs brokerage procedures (international shipments)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
