Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers (LTL, FTL, air freight)
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices) for compliance
- Optimize routing and negotiate freight rates to minimize costs
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Liaise with warehouse, sales, and customs teams for end-to-end visibility
- Implement continuous process improvements for shipping efficiency
- Utilize TMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) for order management
Qualifications
- 3+ years in shipping/logistics coordination role
- Expert knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazmat compliance
- Proficiency in logistics software (TMS/WMS) and MS Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills with crisis management experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- High school diploma; supply chain certification preferred
- Ability to lift 25 lbs occasionally for warehouse audits
- Valid driver's license (required for occasional carrier visits)
