Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations across air, ocean, and ground freight channels
- Manage customs documentation and compliance for international shipments
- Optimize routing and carrier partnerships to minimize transit times and costs
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems and provide proactive stakeholder updates
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading of containerized cargo
- Resolve shipping disruptions through strategic carrier negotiations and contingency planning
- Analyze shipping metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or freight forwarding
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Descartes, Blue Yonder) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Certification in logistics/supply chain management preferred (CSCP, CTL, etc.)
- Deep understanding of Incoterms, customs regulations, and port operations
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with experience in crisis management
- Strong negotiation skills with carriers and customs brokers
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
