Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier communication
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate rates with shipping carriers to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive updates to stakeholders regarding delivery status
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and customs issues with immediate attention
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation in logistics management systems
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customs teams to ensure smooth cargo flow
- Analyze shipping performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and international shipping protocols
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to resolve logistical challenges under pressure
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
- Detail-oriented with proven accuracy in documentation and compliance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain preferred
