Responsibilities
- Load and unload temperature-sensitive products safely and efficiently using various material handling equipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery (certification provided upon hire).
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, spoilage, or accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment within the cold storage facility.
- Perform inventory checks and update digital tracking systems accurately.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols regarding temperature regulation and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (temperatures ranging from 30°F to 40°F).
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to pass a background check.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
