Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers and pallets efficiently using forklifts or hand trucks.
- Organize and stock inventory in freezers and coolers while adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures.
- Monitor storage conditions and temperatures to ensure product integrity and safety standards are met.
- Perform regular cleaning and sanitation of work areas, walkways, and equipment to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Assist in inventory audits and maintain accurate record-keeping of stock levels.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (below 32°F) for extended periods.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long shifts.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and scanning barcodes.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience is a plus but not required.
