Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and organizing stock according to established shelving systems.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus but not required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
