Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently move freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Equipment Inspection: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on all machinery to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock to ensure quick retrieval and minimal downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures at all times.
- Workflow Optimization: Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to streamline operations and meet daily production targets.
- Housekeeping: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CFL, CL, RF, etc.).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
