Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, reach, and stand-up) to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock as it moves through the facility.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and production targets.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long durations.
