Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Verify and inspect loads for damaged goods or safety hazards before transport.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using handheld scanners or logbooks.
- Follow all safety regulations, including OSHA standards and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Clean and organize the warehouse aisles and storage areas to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work flexible night shift hours (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
