Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining strict cold chain integrity for all perishable goods.
- Organize, stock, and rotate inventory within freezer and cooler environments to ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures.
- Perform regular quality checks and inspections of products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies at all times.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping and organizing aisles.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures (32°F and below) for extended periods.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift, carry, and push heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or inventory software.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar industrial environment is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
