Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and updating warehouse management systems.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Organize and stack pallets efficiently to optimize warehouse storage space.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and shipments.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Class A, B, or C) with valid license.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
