Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, and Pallet Jack) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, picking, packing, and ensuring accurate stock placement using warehouse management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Freight Handling: Perform accurate freight documentation, verify shipment contents, and secure loads properly for transport.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse team to meet daily production targets and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (CPS card or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and operate equipment in varying temperatures.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records of stock movements.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
