Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular stock counts, check inventory accuracy, and update digital logs to maintain precise inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment for all employees.
- Material Preparation: Properly tag, label, and prepare products for shipment or storage, ensuring proper palletization and shrink-wrapping.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts to identify potential mechanical issues and report them immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CFP/CPH) or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven warehouse floors.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating heavy machinery.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance in previous employment.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening as per company policy.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not always required for the right candidate.
