Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to safely load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and yard.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of stock movements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.
- Assist in the organization of pallets and product storage to optimize warehouse efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license is mandatory; certification provided if no prior experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a distribution center or manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to pass a post-offer background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and climbing stairs.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
