What You Will Do:
We are looking for reliable individuals to ensure our warehouse operations run smoothly. Your role will be crucial in maintaining inventory accuracy and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack pallets within the warehouse.
- Pallet Handling: Perform palletizing and de-palletizing tasks using proper equipment and techniques.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control by accurately scanning items and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean workspace.
- Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trailers and trucks, ensuring cargo is secure and ready for transport.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to ensure daily production targets are met.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to maintenance staff immediately.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift. Must be comfortable with repetitive motion.
- No Experience Required: Prior forklift experience is a plus, but not mandatory. We provide training for the right candidates.
- Background Check: Must be willing to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Must have strong observational skills to ensure safety and accuracy.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be punctual.
- License: A valid driver's license is preferred.
