Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safety compliance and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Organize warehouse aisles and storage areas to maximize efficiency and ensure safe passage.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator License (OSHA) is required.
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and inventory integrity.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
