Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Pre-Shift Checks: Perform daily safety inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment before operation.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counts and paperwork.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.
