Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in good working order and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to 5S standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Perform routine inventory counts and document movements accurately.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA) is required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is highly preferred.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
