Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Supervisor in Newark, NJ! We're seeking a results-driven leader to oversee daily warehouse operations while enjoying our remote-friendly work model. You'll manage inventory, optimize logistics, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid role combines remote coordination with on-site oversight at our Newark facility.
Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping teams
- Implement inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate with logistics partners for seamless inbound/outbound transportation
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry regulations
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
- Generate performance reports and data-driven improvement plans
- Train staff on new equipment, software, and operational procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervision experience in fast-paced environments
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training required
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with inventory management expertise
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Experience with automated warehouse systems and robotics a plus
