Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance checks before each shift.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning pallets and verifying stock levels.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely shipping and receiving of orders.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Must be able to pass a forklift proficiency test.
