Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move pallets, racks, and heavy loads within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts daily for any mechanical issues or safety hazards before starting shifts.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely manner, ensuring cargo is secure and properly labeled.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all 5S cleanliness standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse regulations at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as requested by management.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating a forklift (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, or Pallet Jack) is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
