Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and security of cargo.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and logging stock movements.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse flow and productivity.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must provide proof).
- Previous experience operating forklifts (RF Scanner experience is a plus).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as business needs dictate.
