Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a warehouse setting.
- Load and unload freight and materials onto and off of trucks, pallets, and shelves.
- Perform daily safety inspections on equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Organize inventory and maintain a clean, organized workspace to prevent accidents.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies regarding lifting, standing, and operating machinery.
Qualifications
- Forklift Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred or willing to get).
- Experience operating forklifts or heavy machinery in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends if required.
