Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently using proper safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure mechanical safety.
- Organize stock and maintain a clean, organized workspace to prevent accidents.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping as required.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and scanning.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.
