Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized work areas and report maintenance needs
- Train new team members on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Support cross-functional operations as needed during peak demand periods
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (e.g., OSHA-compliant) and 2+ years of recent experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- Basic computer skills for WMS data entry and documentation
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and overtime
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse technology preferred
