Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload pallets and goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts using warehouse management systems
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on forklifts and report mechanical issues
- Coordinate with warehouse team to optimize storage space and workflow efficiency
- Assist in unloading shipments and verifying received goods against purchase orders
- Support facility cleanliness and organization in designated work areas
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (e.g., OSHA-approved) with 1+ years of recent experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime shifts, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
