Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately select products from the warehouse floor and pack them into containers for shipment according to customer specifications and safety guidelines.
- Inventory Verification: Cross-check packing slips against inventory to ensure order accuracy and minimize errors.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and handheld scanners to move materials efficiently.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep workstations, aisles, and the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before packaging and report any issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and maintain high accuracy rates in fast-paced environments.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
- Documentation: Ability to read and understand packing lists and safety labels.
