Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Efficiently retrieve products from warehouse shelves and prepare them for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan barcodes, verify quantities, and maintain inventory records to ensure data integrity.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts to move stock.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect items for damage and ensure packaging meets company quality standards before shipping.
- Fleet Loading: Assist in loading outbound trucks in a safe and organized manner, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Attention to Detail: Must be highly accurate when counting and verifying items.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management systems (WMS).
