Responsibilities
- Select and Pack: Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specific SKU requirements and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Scan barcodes and verify product quantities to ensure 100% accuracy in inventory records.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and handheld scanners to move materials efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect packages for damage and ensure all shipping labels are applied correctly.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the picking and packing stations clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and logistics coordinators to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail picking is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow complex picking lists.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn warehouse management software quickly.
