Responsibilities
- Select and gather merchandise from warehouse shelves according to pick tickets and customer orders.
- Package items securely into boxes, cartons, or crates using appropriate packing materials.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information and barcodes.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (training provided).
- Inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are met before shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure shipping goals are met daily.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Basic reading and math skills to read order tickets and labels.
- Reliable transportation and a history of punctual attendance.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
