Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Optimize warehouse inventory levels and track shipment status in real-time
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and collaborate with vendors/customers for timely deliveries
- Implement cost-effective shipping strategies while maintaining service quality
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international trade regulations
- Train staff on shipping protocols and technology systems
- Generate weekly/monthly shipping performance reports for management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Certified Customs Broker or equivalent trade compliance training
- Strong analytical skills with Excel/Power BI expertise
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Forklift certification or warehouse experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak seasons
