Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trailers, pallets, and boxes with speed and accuracy.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily for safety issues and report any malfunctions to management.
- Organize inventory and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding inventory levels and workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid OSHA forklift certification (Must provide certificate upon interview).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Safety: Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Tools: Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
