Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts to transport materials between warehouse zones and loading docks
- Execute inventory counts and maintain accurate stock documentation
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance troubleshooting
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Collaborate with night shift team to optimize workflow efficiency
- Load/unroll trucks with precision using advanced pallet systems
- Maintain clean, organized work zones and report safety hazards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 48 hours)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience in night shift environments
- Proficient in inventory management systems (RF scanning preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to zero-incident safety
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
