Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for domestic and international freight
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices)
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and proactively resolve delays
- Optimize transportation routes and negotiate carrier rates
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and international trade regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customs teams for seamless operations
- Generate shipment reports and maintain logistics databases
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping coordination experience in logistics/transportation
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Blue Yonder, or Descartes)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and hazardous materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to multitask in high-pressure scenarios
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities
