Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones using digital monitoring systems
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment per OSHA standards
- Inspect, sort, and store perishable goods (produce, dairy, frozen foods) with precision
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation methods and cycle count procedures
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and GMPs for food safety compliance
- Complete daily sanitation tasks and facility maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean MVR record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures and humid conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
