Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by staging, sorting, and organizing products according to established protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including packing and palletizing.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
