Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and stage shipments accurately to ensure timely distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by adhering to all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Perform inventory checks and manage stock levels within the warehouse system.
- Collaborate with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and order fulfillment.
- Inspect equipment for defects or damage and report any issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and material handling best practices.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse management software.
