Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock efficiently to ensure order fulfillment.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the packaging, labeling, and staging of orders for shipment.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and scanning barcodes.
