Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Load and Unload Goods: Transfer products from trailers, trucks, and loading docks to storage areas with precision.
- Palletizing and Stacking: Organize inventory by stacking boxes and pallets neatly to maximize warehouse space.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Inventory Maintenance: Assist in counting stock and performing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Entry Level Friendly: No previous forklift experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating machinery.
- License: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills required to follow safety instructions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.
