Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock placement to optimize warehouse flow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
