Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure all safety mechanisms are functioning correctly.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workspace in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Accurately document inventory movements and stock levels using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, to accommodate overtime needs.
