Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and yard.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately counting, sorting, and tagging stock.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling and shipping/receiving.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (required for immediate consideration).
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Reliable transportation to the workplace.
