Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of all machinery and equipment.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by counting stock and checking labels against manifests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and hazards.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets.
- Assist in inventory management tasks, including cycle counting and stock organization.
Qualifications
- Current and valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
