Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage inventory according to production orders and shipping manifests.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required, including packing and labeling.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Must be presented at interview).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions (if applicable).
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
