Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks and materials from the warehouse floor.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Material Handling: Organize and stack products neatly to maximize warehouse space and efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and daily logs as required.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends or overtime if necessary.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class B CDL is a plus).
